Current LA salsero favorites are green. This doesn’t mean these are the best clubs, they simply have the highest concentration of salsa dancers (as opposed to dinner guests, lounge lizards, blind dates, creepy guys by the bar, drunk girls, etc…)
Confirmed salsa nights are yellow. They may be more or less dancer oriented, like a Latin club that has a salsa class, or maybe a restaurant that has live music. They are all great places, but may or may not be what you are looking for. Look it up here, call ahead, or ask a friend.
Definitely call ahead for the clubs in red to check days of the week and how much salsa they play. These are listings I found on the web and basically know nothing about.
